Job Description
In the next year Pinky Promise is gunning to impact the lives of 1 Million women and you will be building and scaling the products to make this a reality. You will be working across products and technologies, including backend microservices and customer facing apps on web and mobile. You will play a crucial role in designing and building key features of the product, our medical AI systems, and deeply focus on scaling up the product. As a member of an early-stage startup, you will work closely with the founding team, contributing to the design and development of cutting-edge AI solutions that will transform the way women access reproductive healthcare.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the founding team to ideate, design, and implement scalable and reliable product features
- Understand customer issues and find solutions
- Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and knowledge sharing with the engineering team.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in large language models and cloud technologies.
Who are you
You are someone who is comfortable working across different technologies, is excited about learning new things everyday, and is ready to change the status quo for women's healthcare.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or related fields and/or 3-8 years experience in a core dev role.
- Proficiency in any one programming language such as Python, (Javascript) Nodejs, Java, Rust, or Go.
- Experience with designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices using frameworks like Django, Flask, Spring Boot, Express, etc.
- Experience in web and/or mobile app development with languages/frameworks such as Kotlin, Swift, React Native, Flutter, Vue, React
- Understanding of database systems (SQL/NoSQL) and proficiency in writing efficient queries.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP and experience with related services.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
