Role Overview
We're looking for a passionate and driven Social Media Manager who can work closely with the Content Lead to shape Pinky Promise’s voice across social platforms. If you’re someone who loves trends but also values purpose-driven storytelling, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
1. Social Media Strategy & Planning
- Co-develop monthly content calendars with themes, post ideas, and awareness days.
- Stay ahead of digital trends and platform updates, adapting strategies accordingly.
2. Content Creation & Execution
- Ideate content formats aligned with the brand’s voice (reels, carousels, memes, etc.) with the team.
- Translate trending formats into relevant pieces for Pinky Promise.
- Contribute to script writing for educational/informative videos and reels.
- Coordinate with creators/influencers during content shoots and guide execution.
- Shoot in house content pieces, and know the basics of editing to create topical reels and work closely with the editor and graphic designer to execute the ideas and content pieces.
3. Brand Awareness & Community Building
- Create and execute engagement strategies (polls, quizzes, DMs, UGC prompts, etc.).
- Support monthly campaign planning (e.g., Vox Pop videos, awareness drives).
- Identify and manage influencer and expert collaborations in the health and wellness space.
4. Performance Tracking & Optimization
- Track post and campaign performance; derive insights from analytics tools.
- Work with the marketing manager to create monthly performance reports and contribute to data-driven optimizations.
5. Team Collaboration & Presence
- Be part of weekly brainstorm sessions to jam on ideas and align with the team.
- Coordinate with design, product, and customer service to ensure messaging consistency.
6. Work with the CEO and Co-founder to build her social media presence
- Work closely with the content lead to build the social media presence of the CEO and Co-Founder
- Execute strategies in terms of shooting reels and working with the editor to create high impact content pieces for the founder.
- Work on strategies such as podcast collaborations and event invites for the founder, and coordinate with concerned authorities to execute these strategies.
Who You Are
- 3-4 years of hands-on experience in managing social media for brands (preferably in health, wellness, or youth-focused sectors).
- Experience in YouTube, online community building, Tier 2 social media platforms, etc is preferred
- A digital native who gets Instagram inside out (Reels, trends, formats, and algorithm logic).
- Ability to spot and adapt trends quickly and create platform-first content.
- A strong communicator, someone who can write a killer caption and a script with ease.
- Someone who deeply believes in impact-driven, fun, inclusive content.
- Bonus: You’ve worked on Meta ads or content strategy that converts.
