Being a market leader in the software platform for FTL freight business, Freight Tiger is poised to improve data-driven vehicle matchmaking between LSPs and truckers using tech capabilities. Our goal is to increase current trip volumes by 5 times in the next year.
While we process close to 4% of the country's freight on our software platform, our aim is to to get to 20% by 2028. And, we want to create a stronghold in our marketplace business which currently is highly fragmented.
About the Role:
We are looking for a results-driven Sales Executive to join our Embedded Finance team and lead the growth of our commercial vehicle insurance business. The role involves selling motor insurance policies to medium and large fleet operators, managing end-to-end relationships, and ensuring a seamless onboarding experience. You will play a key role in scaling a high-impact vertical within Freight Tiger.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pitch commercial vehicle insurance products to fleet owners, focusing on medium and large accounts (20+ vehicles).
- Own the full sales cycle in conjunction with our partners – from lead generation, cold outreach, pitching, to closure and onboarding.
- Understand customer requirements, recommend appropriate coverage options, and coordinate with insurance partners.
- Build strong relationships with fleet operators, logistics providers, and internal stakeholders.
- Work closely with the insurance operations team to ensure timely issuance, renewals, and claim support.
- Track and report sales performance, funnel conversion, and key metrics regularly.
- Share ground-level insights to help improve product offerings and go-to-market strategies
Qualifications & Experience:
- 4-8 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in insurance, fintech, or related sectors.
- Strong understanding of the insurance landscape, especially commercial vehicle insurance, is a plus.
