Role Description
As a Nutrition Science Advisor at GreenChoice, you will help us continue to build, market, and validate a leading-edge food health scoring system that is personalized to individuals' dietary needs and efficacious in driving healthy choices.
The Nutrition Science Advisor will guide our nutrition research, provide expertise in dietetics, nutrition science, and regulatory standards, and contribute to R&D initiatives related to our systems for analyzing and deriving foods' dietary and health attributes. The advisor will play a key role in enhancing the company's offerings and ensuring they align with industry standards.
Time Commitment: Advisory <10 hours/month; contract work <10-20hours/week, with at least a few weeks advance warning
Compensation: Equity + part-time contract work
Qualifications
- Master's or Ph.D. in Nutrition, Food Science, or related field
- Nutrition research and data expertise
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements in nutrition
- Knowledge and passion for knowing the latest in the food-as-medicine landscape and tech-enabled nutrition interventions
