Being a market leader in the software platform for FTL freight business, Freight Tiger is poised to improve data-driven vehicle matchmaking between LSPs and truckers using tech capabilities. Our goal is to increase current trip volumes by 5 times in the next year.
While we process close to 4% of the country's freight on our software platform, our aim is to to get to 20% by 2028. And, we want to create a stronghold in our marketplace business which currently is highly fragmented.
About the Role:
As a Team Lead for Demand in our dynamic logistic marketplace, you'll spearhead both farming and hunting our partners to grow the business month on month by leading a team of associates. This includes upselling business with existing partners, driving strategic partnerships, expand client base and explore new market opportunities to achieve sales targets
Key responsibilities:
- Logistics Service Providers Management: Build and maintain relationships with existing partners to support their daily transactions with Freight Tiger and monitor their progress month on month
- Pipeline Management: Maintain list of prospective partners to be onboarded and continuous engagement to start transactions with them. This is critical to ensure coming month targets are met
- Team Management: Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Associates, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring alignment with company objectives
- Drive process based operations: Ensure defined SOPs are followed and suggest tweaks required in existing processes to improve efficiency
- Market Intelligence: Conduct market research, analyze industry trends, and gather competitive intelligence to identify areas for growth and differentiation

- Preferred qualifications:
- Proven track record (4+ years) in business development, sales, or related roles, preferably within the logistics or supply chain industry
- Leadership experience of 2 years to inspire a team towards achieving targets
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- Background of sales and distribution format, preferably from the logistics/courier industry; however, applicants from other sectors, such as viz, telecom, banking, etc.
- Strong track record of the client relationship & servicing across corporate, institutions and individuals

Few things to know:
- Logistics Service Provider is a partner who has a contract with Shipper (factory, warehouse, etc.) to move their goods. We work with LSPs who does Full Truck Load (FTL) business
- One LSP may have multiple loading points in a city as per the contract they have in that location
- LSPs do transactions ranging from 50 to 50000 trips a month with dedicated or market vehicles
- Currently LSPs does 98+% of their market transactions with offline partners in unorganized way
- Central team member and local traffic person are key stakeholders for LSP to drive transactions
