Role Overview :
The Head of Solutions owns the bridge between what we sell and what we deliver. Every enterprise customer comes to Freight Tiger with a working logistics operation — a way they plan loads, raise indents, track vehicles, capture PODs, and settle freight bills. Our platform has to fit into that reality. This role is responsible for understanding each customer's current process in depth, mapping it cleanly to the Freight Tiger product suite (Dispatch Planning, Indent Bidding, Track & Trace, AI Control Tower, EPOD, Freight Invoicing — across FTL and PTL), and making the hard calls on what gets configured, what gets customised, and what gets built into the product.
The mandate is simple to state and hard to execute: what we committed in sales and pre-sales is what the customer experiences in production. No surprises in scope, no quiet drift in timelines, no gap between the demo and the deployment.
This is a senior leadership role reporting into CBO and partners closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Implementation.
Key responsibilities
- Process discovery and solution design — Run structured discovery with the customer's planning, dispatch, transport, and accounts teams to map the as-is process. Design the to-be flow across Dispatch Planning, Indent, Track & Trace, Control Tower, EPOD, and Freight Invoicing — for FTL, PTL, or both — and produce a signed-off fit-gap document classifying every requirement as configuration, integration, product gap, or out-of-scope. Bias toward configuration unless the case for enhancement is compelling.
- Requirements authoring — Convert product gaps into crisp BRDs that Product and Engineering can estimate and build from, with business context, user stories, edge cases, and success criteria. Own the quality of requirements flowing into the product backlog from customer engagements.
- Sales-to-delivery handshake — Validate solution feasibility in late-stage pre-sales for Platinum and Gold accounts before commercial close. Own the commitments register for every signed account — SoW, demos, MSA scope, timelines — and run the solution sign-off gate between sales close and implementation kickoff.
- Adoption and cross-functional leadership — Define the customer-side change management plan and stay engaged through go-live and first stabilisation. Feed prioritised enhancement requests to Product with business case and revenue impact attached. Partner with Engineering on integration scope (SAP, Oracle, Manhattan, custom ERPs, GPS, payments). Build and lead the solutions team with the playbooks, templates, and review cadences that make the function repeatable at scale.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 12–18 years of experience, with a meaningful portion in solution architecture, solution consulting, or business analysis for enterprise SaaS — ideally in TMS, WMS, ERP, or supply chain platforms.
- Direct experience leading 5+ enterprise TMS or supply chain SaaS implementations end-to-end (discovery → solution design → go-live → stabilisation).
- Deep operational understanding of road freight: dispatch planning, indent and bidding, vehicle placement, in-transit tracking, ePOD, freight bill reconciliation, and settlement. Working knowledge of both FTL and PTL operating models.
- Strong process mapping discipline (BPMN, swimlane modelling) and BRD/FRD authoring craft. Comfortable reading API contracts, integration specs, and data models.
- Track record of managing senior stakeholders on the customer side — Supply Chain Heads, CFOs, CIOs, Logistics Heads.
- Bachelor's in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related; MBA preferred.
