PartRunner is a Global Startup that is revolutionizing how logistics are done for “Big & Bulky”. We are called the "Uber for big & bulky" and work with wholesale distributors (suppliers) that are moving all types of products. We work with many companies in diverse industries like: construction, electric, paint, auto, tires, hardware, tools among many others.
We are a B2B last-mile marketplace that connects companies to a network of hundreds of independent truckers via our web and mobile apps. Our driver network is composed of independent drivers, owner operators, and small fleets that have all types of vehicles; from cars, to cargo vans, pickup trucks, and 24ft box trucks. We own no vehicles!
We are currently operational in New England (MA, NH, RI and CT) as well as Mexico city (MX) backed by one of the largest multinational companies in the industry Cemex Ventures.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a motivated leader who loves leading and building sales organizations. A go-getter, boots-on-the-ground leader, that wants to strategize, build, and execute the sales pillar of the company. In this role you will own Sales (revenue) in the company.
This role will report directly to the CEO and will be working closely with all of the leadership team.
Your mission:
Strategize, Build, and Lead the Sales & Partnerships arm of PartRunner in the US. Increase our annual revenue by 3X.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the Sales and Partnerships arm of PartRunner
- Build & execute, a sales plan for a go-to-market strategy in a new region from 0
- Have clear Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly goals
- Hire, train and manage a Sales workforce of A players
- Develop training programs and clear KPIs and goals
- Develop clear compensation structures
- Be able to build and manage a budget
- Build the Sales playbook with processes, systems and software of the company both on:
- A (Top-Bottom) Enterprise Sales
- A (Bottom-Up) In-field sales
- Work close to:
- Head of Ops
- Head of Growth/Marketing
- Head of Expansion
- CTO
- Leadership
- As part of the executive team you will work with all team members of the organization
- Be in strategic conversations and be able to present to top companies
Qualifications:
- An experienced sales leader with a track record of over-performing (+200% growth annual or more)
- Has experience in selling logistics, 3PL, transportation
- Built, deployed, and executed a Sales strategy in a new region from 0
- Has built, led and managed a multi-region sales team
- Startup experience
- Can work closely with Growth and marketing teams to grow lead gen. efforts
- Can hire A players
- Experience working with CRMs and automation
- Excellent Communication & organizational skills
- Advanced data analytics skills
- Data driven mindset
- Is experienced with the Wholesale Distribution, Construction, or the Trades space (Big Plus)
- Has experience working in a marketplace business (Big Plus)
